Pacific Northwest Center for Global Security (CGS)

The Pacific Northwest Center for Global Security was established in 1998 by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) which is operated by Battelle for the U.S. Department of Energy. Its core capabilities and its relationship to the U.S. government through the Laboratory and Battelle Memorial Institute make it uniquely suited to engage counterparts around the world in promoting security through education, community outreach and innovative S&T policy analysis and programs.

Building on PNNL's science and technology capability, the Center for Global Security's charge is to contribute to the development of national and international policies to strengthen nonproliferation, regional stability and global security.

For more information about us, see About the Center.
