Gerson Sher

The CRDF is a nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress and established by the National Science Foundation in 1995.  This unique public-private partnership promotes scientific and technical collaboration between the United States and the countries of the FSU.  The CRDF works to foster the conversion of weapons scientists to civilian work by funding collaborative non-weapons research and development projects, and seeks to bring economic benefit to both the United States and FSU by helping to move applied research to the marketplace.
